Visuals can be beneficial in court cases, especially when someone’s life is on the line.
I have assisted Attorneys for both the Prosecution and the Defense (an expert through IDS) in over 60 murder cases since 1986. With both an art and science background, I specialize in creating 2D and 3D courtroom graphics to help the Jury understand the scene, witnesses give their testimony, and attorneys explain complicated scenarios.
I provide to-scale reconstructions showing bullet trajectories in 3D with figures, 3D autopsy diagrams, persuasive diagrams, timelines, charts, and graphs, or summary lists for closing arguments. I have also been able to show the order of shots on a moving figure.

Services
Some examples of how I can help.
After reviewing the police reports, autopsy reports & photos, thoroughly studying the crime scene photographs, and discussing the case with Attorneys, visiting the scene and taking measurements,
DewProcess Graphics can provide the following:
Note: The average cost of a case, including travel, is around $4,800.
I try to keep the cases affordable.
Scene Reconstructions
After visiting the scene, taking additional measurements, using the police’s measurements, and comparing scene photographs, a to-scale layout with evidence can be created. Show aerial views, multiple floors, or even have transparent walls.
3D with limited animation
Show a sequence of events or complex scene layouts with multiple panels or short videos.
Educational Diagrams/Graphs
Teach the Jury the anatomy of firearms or types of blood spatter. Show timelines, custom maps, charts, and graphs.
3D Autopsy Diagrams
Hard-to-see autopsy reports can be recreated in 3D. Show multiple angles, clear and color-indicated entrance and exit wounds, or even the position of the active figure during the event.
Artistic Interpretation
Recreate destroyed or altered scenes due to fire or construction. Even in complex landscapes, such as creeks, heavy vegetation can be removed to show the scene layout and evidence placement.
Magnetic Boards
Show multiple vehicles or simple dots representing victims or defendants that are magnetic to show movement throughout a scene. Not accident reconstructions.
